Effect of ''CMBG Additive'' in the recovery of weak cows and milk production by Muhammad Basil

CMBG Additive (04-2020)

The purpose to carry on this research-based experiment is the formation of a feed additive as a nutritious source in weak animals. This feed additive is named as ‘CMBG Additive’. Formulated by the Muhammad Basil of (Allama Iqbal Dairy Scientists Association).
The procedure consists of very simple steps,
Take the good quality seed of  wheat

       1.       Grow some seed of wheat by the hydroponic technique.

       2.       It’s better to use the cardboard to grow the wheatgrass.
Use of pesticide powder in the cardboard.
Small pieces of cardboard to be spread on the floor of cardboard.

       3.       Water them daily through a spray.

       4.       Almost on the fifth day, the seeds will start to sprout.

       5.       Pluck out the wheatgrass on the tenth day. After that, the grass will start to go in the decline phase.

       6.       After getting the wheatgrass, mix it with the 125 g wheat flour and 85 g of mineral mixture.

Wheatgrass, mineral mixture and the wheat flour.

       7.       Pour some water to make these components easy to swallow for the cow.
       8.       Prepare the round-shaped of a dough ball.

       9.       It can be fed to the animals before milking or twice a day orally but as the dose recommended by the animal nutritionist, dairy scientist or any registered veterinarian.
Trial on animals at BB Dairy Farm, Sheikhupura.

            10.  It has to be fed to cattle and buffaloes. The studies on the small ruminants have not been conducted yet.

The results of this experiment are encouraging. Improved health and some increase in milk have been observed. This was fed to the old aged cow, post milk fever weakness and lactating cows. The experiment was conducted in the both exotic and domestic breed of the cattle. This feed additive is also economical and easy to prepare. It is not the substitution of ration but just an additive with good nutritional values. Nutrition of an animal ensures a better economy of the farm. More experiments on cheap and quality feed substitutions are being planned by the Allama Iqbal Dairy Scientists Association. A.I.D.S.A aims to flourish peasantry and have sustainable milk production in Pakistan as in Pakistan the livestock is the backbone of agriculture and agriculture is the backbone of Pakistan's economy.
