Milk Quality Check

Determing pH of milk. 

Materials required to perform experiment are:
1. pH meter (Digital)
2. Beaker
3. Milk sample


Procedure to perform this experiment is:
We have to take a sample of milk and dissolved basic solution with water in a beaker. Then dip the rod of pH meter in solution and record the reading. Normally pH for milk is 6.5 to 6.7.

Benefits for calculating pH of milk is to ensure its quality that either it's drinkable or spoiled.


For further experimentation with pH meter we checked pH of three different acids and recorded their pH as, 1st acid pH 1.71, 2nd acid pH 1.59 and 3rd acid pH was 1.92.
